Just 2 more months!!
This morning, Bryan and I went to my doctor appointment, where I had a sonogram and visit with Dr. Thornton. Sonograms are always exciting!! I noticed I was smiling the WHOLE TIME! We both loved seeing her adorable face and healthy looking body. They even had a new system that allowed us to see her in 4D for a short amount of time. She was pressed up against my placenta, (go figure!) so it was hard to get her whole face visible, but, we saw an eye, nose, and part of her mouth. Her nose was so cute and she looked a lot like Jude did, to me! We will be going to get a 4D sonogram on June 2nd at Little Wonders. It is a 30 minutes session, so we are excited to have more time to see her! (I just hope her face won't be smashed against something in there... even though I don't know how it wouldn't be!)
Dr. Thornton measured my belly and, once again, she is measuring 2 weeks ahead. She is measuring at 31 weeks... I am currently 29 weeks along. Dr. Thornton is pretty sure of herself that Wren will be a bigger baby than Jude was and that she will most likely be around 3 weeks early. She said she is okay with a delivery any time after 36 weeks gestation. I'm pretty excited to hear that.... In just the last couple of days I've noticably been nesting!! I can't stop picking anything and everything up that is out of place. I got all of Wren's clothes washed and put away. I just have a couple of things left to do in her room, and it will be all ready for her arrival!! I can't wait to cuddle her and kiss her soft cheeks!
I am now on the 2 week check up schedule! I love when I get to go every 2 weeks... it seems to make it feel like it is going by even faster!!

Early arrival?!?
I went to the doctor again today, since Dr. Thornton wasn't able to see me last week. She said that she would like me to get an ultrasound in 2 weeks to see how long my cervix is measuring. (The longer the better.) Bryan and I look forward to seeing our little girl again! She will look much bigger now, and she better be moving a lot this time! When we saw her at 18 weeks she wasn't moving much at all, but now that she kicks me non-stop all day, I will know I have a stinker on my hands if she is still again.
Dr. Thornton measured my stomach and said I was measuring 2 weeks ahead. I am 27 weeks, but measuring at 29 weeks. Jude was always measuring 2 weeks ahead toward the end, so I pretty much figured she would be measuring big too. I asked Dr. Thornton if she thought Wren would make an early arrival since Jude came 3 weeks early. (He tried to come 4 weeks early but we were able to hold him off for a few days.) She said yes, Wren will probably be 3 weeks early, just hopes it's no earlier than that.
As wonderful as it is to think about holding my baby girl sooner than later, I also worry about her health. I want to keep her in as long as I can, to make sure her lungs are nice and strong for the outside world. But, I think it's safe to say Wren will be a July baby and not an August baby, like her due date predicts. I am going to make my prediction of a July 22nd birthday. I don't know why, but the 22nd keeps coming to mind.

Wren is one ACTIVE little girl!
I went to the doctor this week because I was feeling a lot of pressure and wanted to make sure it wasn't a sign of early labor. Luckily, it wasn't, and the pressure decreased after a day. I will be going to the doctor again on Tuesday. (I wasn't able to see my actual doctor.) I look forward to hearing what week I am measuring at. (With Jude, I was always measuring a couple of weeks ahead.)
Wren is one ACTIVE little girl! For the past week she has been kicking me constantly from morning to night! (I don't know when she is sleeping! I guess she must be sleeping when I am.) I don't remember Jude being this active, and some of her kicks actually make me scream because they hurt! I have also noticed in the last few days that my belly is growing LARGE! Erica and Jamie came over yesterday and were shocked at how big I looked... saying I look about as big as I got with Jude. Lets hope not, because I still have 13 weeks to go!! I currently weight 112 lbs... I have gained a total of 14 lbs since becoming pregnant with Wren. With Jude I gained 24 pounds. I have a feeling I will be gaining a lot more than that this time around... :/ (I can't believe I still have 3 more months of growing to do! I already waddle really bad... I don't know how I will even walk toward the end of this pregnancy!!)
I am glad that the weather has finally warmed up... I was getting really tired of wearing sweats everyday. I only have maternity clothes for the summer. (Thanks to my cousin, Taysia, who let me borrow all of her maternity clothes!) I bought a few maternity items when I was pregnant with Jude (that were for summer), but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money on winter maternity clothes... I figured I could make it wearing my sweat pants and sweatshirts... and I did! :) Now, I am enjoying wearing actual maternity clothes that fit me more comfortably (and look pretty cute I must admit!) :D
